100 MILLION MEALS

100 Million Meals is the biggest food aid initiative in the region and the goal is to provide 100 million meals for disadvantaged individuals and families affected by COVID-19; unite people from all over the world towards combating hunger and malnutrition.

The ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign is the extension of the ‘10 Million Meals’ (learn more) campaign which was realized last year aiming to provide food support for low-income families and individuals in UAE who have been affected from COVID-19 throughout Ramadan period, that we had participated as Lesaffre Gulf FZE.

This year the campaign is enlarged to over 30 more countries from various parts of the world – including Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Angola, Ethiopia, Senegal, Nepal, Kosovo and Brazil during the holy month of Ramadan, from ‘10 Million Meals’ to ‘100 Million Meals’.

Lesaffre Gulf FZE took part in this charity action this year as well by donating 73.000 meals with the support of Lesaffre’s Charity Program, ECHO encouraging the solidarity actions of the company, to play its role as a responsible and supportive plater in its economic environment and to encourage public to adopt a humanitarian case, particularly for fighting against hunger for disadvantaged individuals and families.
